How to escape
The game page offers two endings of the question: wait for rescue, or risk everything for a way out. The videos only show the clues, not a finished route.
The description tells you to build rooftop shelters, craft escape plans, and discover new routes, then help neighbors and choose your escape. Those are the official verbs. They are not a map.
After a neighbor trade, a battery radio plays directions. Ruth's scene says to proceed to the stadium reception point, and that you can see the stadium from the roof, 'a big bowl over the rooftops.' Another broadcast mentions a helicopter far on the north side.
Arthur, stuck in a doorway under a shelf, says the roof key is on the bench. One video places that conversation on floor 29. A wiki says floor 28. I print both and do not send you to a single landing.
The elevator is out of service and wants a triangular key. After the blackout it is dead anyway. Stairs, vents (screwdriver or wrench), and eventually the roof are the routes people discuss. Rooftop building is in the description. No video shows the build menu.
A sensible order from the footage is: get a radio by trading two portions of food, listen for the stadium or the helicopter, find Arthur, and look for the key he names. I would not call that a clear.
Waiting is the other official choice. Nothing public says that rescue arrives on day 100, or that it arrives at all. The endings page keeps that uncertainty in one place.
